Like a lot of young professionals, 'home' was still up in the air depending on where life might take me. As a result, I was always reluctant to get too settled in anywhere. I kept very minimal house items, drove the same car forever as most cities I'd move to wouldn't require owning a vehicle. I never wanted to be tied up having to try to move a bunch of stuff across the country, or having to sell it in order to part ways. This was my life for most of my adulthood.
But then I decided a city would be home and within a few months my house was full of furniture, decorated and had sets of new dishes, silverware and pots and pans. That is what today's article about furnishing small spaces had come from -- some of the rooms I furnished were small and odd-shaped. From that experience, I understood where to find the right type of furniture to fit in.
I also started learning to cook, which inspired today's article about cooking Japanese foods at home, which is surprisingly easy. As a former stylist and always someone who has loved fashion, I'm excited about how many options there are for chic rain gear. With so many parts of the world moving into spring, slushy and wet weather is likely ahead. Mind as well look cute and stylish. Have a great day!
never knew where I'd end up in life for many years.
